QuickTrace, Version 1.4 is an Internet Load Tracking  application for AS/400s and iSeries systems.

QuickTrace lets carriers provide Customers, Drivers/Owners and Staff full visibility to the status of shipments in real-time, via any standard browser.

QuickTrace gives customers the ability to check the status of their loads without having to contact your office. Call volume decreases, letting customer service representatives work on booking freight and attending to customers with more serious issues.

It provides a foundation for modernizing your applications. Use existing skills to build powerful web applications that leverage the power of your back end business systems.

QuickTrace improves customer service levels with Internet access to shipment data and boosts staff productivity.

Customers are able to trace their shipments by: Bill of Lading, Trailer number, Container number, Order number, Load At, or by any range of dates.

QuickTrace is based on Strategi™ which is 100% native iSeries resident middleware. Since Strategi™ and QuickTrace have been specifically written for the iSeries, and not ported from any other platform, the product has been designed to build on the inherent security of the iSeries.  SSL and digital certificates are optional security features available for purchase.

QuickTrace with Strategi™ requires no modifications to legacy software and does not affect upgrades to new releases on your host software. It is extremely efficient and does not burden your systems resources like other Application Servers. It takes full advantage of existing OS/400 programmer knowledge, so no NT servers or administrators are required.

Besides the improved customer service and employee productivity, QuickTrace providers can utilize Strategi™ to Internet  enable their AS/400 or iSeries via a 5250 emulator for viewing reports, or printing output remotely, through their browser or direct to their printer. This function can be run interactively or in batch for automated distribution to users or groups of users. It greatly improves user friendliness and saves a weekend trip into the office.
